As an artist, educator, and information worker I investigate the emergent order found where one's will intersects with the physical world and human culture. Since my own philosophy is constantly being reformulated, I hope the following randomly generated paradigm will serve as my artist's statement:

Random Paradigm Rant

Major shifts in intellegent systems will be emergent not causal; probablistic not deterministic. Paradigms inform the perception of reality and, in turn, an open-ended perception of reality encourages the formation of new paradigms.

As the old linear systems seem to break down, the metaphors of chaos theory will help us understand the new emergent order. Time and Space and Object only exist as categories of the individual mind.

The musical fact that sustainability is possible only through harmonic resonance applies equally to solar systems, atoms and ideas as it does to sounds. When Einstein pointed out that the Earth travels in a straight line through a space that is curved by the mass of the Sun he implies that the same is true for all massive bodies in orbit ie. the Moon around the Earth and the electrons around their massive protons.

The Net is a flower of self-knowledge, born from the will to consciousness.
